Made in Bombay, born and raised in the UK, and now San Francisco-based, Micropixie defies easy classification on her stunning debut album. Alice in Stevie Wonderland weaves sensuous instrumentation — both electronic and organic — with intricate vocal textures (courtesy of MPX's Innit Choir). The album's unlikely narrative covers a wide range of genres, tempos and emotions as MPX confronts terrestrial themes of identity, conformity, mind control, solitude, and confusion; fortunately however, the Mothership beams down a timely reminder of her mission via the universal truths of divine intelligence: love, hope, evolution and harmony.
